Signed.
Your name on the work. Your work in the world.
We open four issues a year to India’s designers, artists and architects. You author the work; we make it, tell it and place it, and you share in every piece sold.
Credited by name, at last.
India has never lacked designers. It has lacked a house that signs their work. This is the offer, in four lines.
- I.
Your name on the work
Every piece carries the name of its author, and its story is told with it: in the issue, on the piece, wherever it goes.
- II.
Made to your drawing
We prototype and make your work in an empanelled Indian workshop, and hold every piece to your drawing before it leaves.
- III.
An issue of your own
A whole season is built around your voice: one collaborator, one body of work, one story told in full. We never blend voices.
- IV.
A share in every piece
You share in every piece sold, for as long as the issue is in print. No issue goes out of print.
Heritage craft or boldly contemporary. Furniture, lighting, art & artifacts, rugs.

Designers
Furniture, lighting, objects: a body of work, or the first piece of one.
- II
Artists
Sculpture, vessels and works for the wall, made in an Indian material.
- III
Architects
Pieces drawn with the discipline of a building, made for the home.
How it works
From introduction to issue.
One collaborator a season, four places a year. Every introduction is read by the editor.
- 01
Introduce yourself
Tell us about your work, and the work you would author with us. A link to your portfolio is enough.
- 02
A conversation
If the work is right for a season, the editor writes back to begin a conversation, in person where we can.
- 03
The authorship
You draw the work in your own register. We bring the workshops, the making and the story.
- 04
The unveiling
Your issue opens with its full story, and every piece is credited by name.
The Open Call
Introduce your work.
Tell us who you are, and what you would author with us.
We read every introduction and reply to each one, though a place may take a season or more to open.
